A Star Wars movie could soon lose its top spot on Disney+ as another major franchise arrives on the streaming service. This comes after the list of films available for streaming on the platform features only one from the smash-hit space opera.
According to the latest reports from FlixPatrol, The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, which was released on the streamer on September 2, 2026, has been at the top of Disney+’s streaming charts for a while. However, it might be dethroned pretty soon as another soon-to-be-released film might take its place: Toy Story 5.
The fifth installment in the Toy Story film series arrives on Disney+ this week and could challenge The Mandalorian and Grogu for the top spot. The rest of the current Top 10 also shows strong interest in the franchise, as all four of the previous Toy Story movies are currently in there. Toy Story 5 is going to be big on Disney+ streaming.
Meanwhile, The Mandalorian and Grogu is followed by The Devil Wears Prada 2 in second place, Toy Story in third, Avengers: Infinity War in fourth, Toy Story 2 in fifth, Avengers: Endgame in sixth, Practical Magic in seventh, Toy Story 3 in eighth, Toy Story 4 in ninth, and Avatar: Fire and Ash in tenth position.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu has enjoyed some streaming success on Disney+
Since arriving on Disney+, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu has become a major streaming hit on Disney+.
As the first Nielsen numbers suggest, the film generated 727 million minutes viewed in the United States, enough to make it the second most-streamed movie across Nielsen’s measured services during the week of August 31 to September 6.
What’s more enthralling is that the movie had only been available on Disney+ since September 2, so all those minutes were accumulated across just five days of the tracking window, per StarWars: Gamers.
The film’s box office run was also commendable, as it finished its theatrical run with $345 million worldwide, per Box Office Mojo.
