“He’s simply my person” – Temi Ajibade on what made her say ‘yes’ to Mr Eazi
Billionaire Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi Otedola Ajibade, is finally opening up about her marriage to singer Mr Eazi — and she’s keeping it real.
In a recent interview with BBC, Temi revealed why she said yes to him:
“First and foremost, he’s my best friend. That’s my person. When you meet your person, you know. I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anybody else … he’s the person I’m excited to build my life with, to celebrate with, to solve problems with. He’s simply my person.”
On why she changed her last name on social media to Ajibade, she explained it was her personal choice:
“It wasn’t something I thought about before. But when I became a married woman, the obvious thing for me was to take my husband’s name. It’s what I’m comfortable and happy doing, but I respect that every woman should be able to choose for herself.”
As for why she and Mr Eazi kept their relationship and wedding quiet until they were ready, Temi said it wasn’t just about privacy but about controlling her own story:
“Moving in silence allows you to have a certain control over things. You can share when you’re ready, how you want to, and in the way you want to share it.”
