Avengers: Doomsday reportedly has a surprising development involving Doctor Doom and a familiar MCU hero. A new rumor claims the upcoming Marvel movie will feature a scene between the two characters, in which Doom apparently tries to recruit the latter.
An X (Twitter) account, MCU Film News, cited filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett as a source and wrote, “AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE’ will feature a scene between Doctor Doom and Hulk.”
A user @Ercittone99 replied, “I don’t think it will probably be a dialogue scene.” Burnett then responded, “Somebody has some dialogue.” Another user @voidera10 wrote, “lol another scene of Hulk gettin bitched again tired of this shit marvel.” Burnett responded, “He not getting bitched. He’s getting recruited.”
The comments have raised questions about what Dr. Doom might want from Bruce Banner. However, neither Marvel nor Disney has officially confirmed the reported scene or its storyline.
The new rumor adds more mystery to Hulk and Doctor Doom’s scene
The “recruited” comment suggests that the reported meeting may serve a purpose beyond another superhero fight. If accurate, Doom could be attempting to bring Hulk into his plans rather than simply confronting him.
That possibility also raises questions about Doc Green’s role in the reported story. The comments do not explain whether Doom wants Hulk as an ally, a weapon, or for another reason. They also leave unanswered whether Hulk would accept any offer from Doom.
This scene might hit harder because of the timing. Avengers: Endgame Encore is reportedly being used to offer audiences an early look at Avengers: Doomsday. That gives the rumored encounter a possible connection to the larger upcoming Avengers story.
Still, the available comments reveal very little about the scene itself. Burnett’s remarks are also not an official confirmation from Marvel. Until the studio releases details, the reported recruitment remains unconfirmed.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to continue the MCU’s multiverse storyline. Robert Downey Jr‘s Doctor Doom is expected to play a major role in the film, while Hulk’s involvement remains less clear. It releases in theaters on December 18.
