Prime Video first confirmed the date on May 11, 2026, alongside a batch of first-look photos, and followed it up with the official trailer and key art on June 8.

The action-packed series begins to unravel when the lives of two best friends get upended after one of them is revealed to be living a double life. The official logline of the show reads (via Amazon MGM Studios):
Ride or Die follows best friends Debbie Claybourne and Judith Burton who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin. When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together.
What follows is a breakneck road trip across Europe with the police, professional killers, and some seriously dangerous criminals all chasing them down. But the series isn’t just car chases and shootouts. At its core, it’s a story about friendship being tested in the most extreme way imaginable.
