With only three episodes remaining in season 1 of Suits LA, we got the return of one of our favorite beloved Suits characters, Harvey Specter. Erica ruffles feathers within the office, which causes Rosalyn to step in. Ted’s past is brought up by Amanda, leading to flashbacks and Gabriel Macht reprising his role as Harvey. Suits LA had lost its muster since the Lester Thompson case, but it seems the final two episodes will explore Ted and Harvey’s relationship in the present day, leaving me excited for what’s ahead.

Suits LA Season 1, Episode 8 Recap
Erica and Leah both get corresponding calls from family that a loved one has passed away. However, Erica gets a call from Adam Driver that he is needed to meet with for dinner. This leads Erica to inform Leah that Driver has been feeling ignored by them and wants to meet for dinner. Leah said she has plans, but Erica snaps, saying she doesn’t have personal time when you are an associate.
Erica attempts to talk to Ted about possibly meeting with Adam Driver for her, but he says that he is unable to. Rosalyn walks in to inform Erica that HR wants to speak with her about an issue. Marvin (HR) confronts Erica about the conversation she had with Leah. Erica asked if Leah had told him about it, and he said that he had overheard the conversation, and it wasn’t professional. She snaps at him, saying she got the talk many times in her past and for him to stay out of her business.

Ted asks Amanda to go through resumes to hire for the firm. The duo ends up ordering takeout to comb over the resumes together. She asks about his time in New York, although everyone says not to mention it, but she does anyway. Ted tells her that he loved being a prosecutor but isn’t ready to talk about why he left yet.
Who confronted Erica about how she acted with HR?
After snapping at Marvin, Rosalyn was awaiting Erica in her office. She explains that she shouldn’t have treated Marvin the way she did and needed to fix things. Erica sits down with Marvin, who tells her that Leah reacted the way she did because they put her cat down. She was confused why she didn’t say that, and Marvin said that her reaction to Leah saying she was busy is why.
Erica speaks with Leah and apologizes for how she acted. After finding out that she found out that her cat had already been put down, Erica freaks out again, saying it’s part of the job, and says they still have a client because she shut down her feelings and nobody was there for her. Later, she goes to her mom’s house and breaks down over Arthur’s passing.
Suits LA Season 1, Episode 8 Ending Explained — What does Harvey give Ted?
Ted gets Jimmy on the stand to help his prosecution case. The testimony of Jimmy elevated some of the pressure from the cast, but Ted isn’t so sure that it will lead to a conviction. Harvey Specter returns to give the financial paperwork because the man on trial isn’t his client anymore.
Amanda agrees to take the job of Head of Criminal Defense as long as Ted is okay with representing guilty people. She got that from Stuart, and Ted promises to let her do her thing. Amanda followed by asking what they were doing here (relationship-wise), and Ted said to give him some time to think about it. Present day, Harvey arrived to talk to Ted about how Pellegrini is getting out of jail and wants his help to put him back in jail for good.
