She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany has weighed in on whether the superpowered attorney at law could beat the original Hulk. Maslany first debuted as Jennifer Walters in the 2022 show on Disney+ and has yet to reprise the role in the MCU.
In the show, she shared the screen with her on-screen cousin Mark Ruffalo, who played the founding Avenger, Bruce Banner.
Maslany shared her thoughts on She-Hulk’s capabilities on a new episode of Zeteo’s We’re Not Kidding with Mehdi Hasan. During a rapid-fire round, she was asked who would win in a fight between the green goliaths. Without breaking a sweat, Maslany replied, “She-Hulk!”
While the series never featured a showdown between the heroes, it did showcase friendly competition between them. During a training montage, it showed that Walters was a fast learner, picking up skills from Ruffalo’s Hulk that took him years to master.
The rapid-fire round also tested Maslany’s knowledge of Marvel and DC, revealing that she hasn’t kept up with either franchise. She also revealed that she’s a fan of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and would like to play Baby Groot if given the choice to play any other Marvel character.

Tatiana Maslany’s answer adds another layer to She-Hulk’s MCU story
Maslany’s history with Marvel has become tenuous in recent years, though the actress maintains she would like to reprise the role provided it serves the right story. Despite a mixed reception and criticism on social media at launch, the She-Hulk show was recently confirmed to be one of Marvel’s top performers on Disney+.
Since appearing in She-Hulk, Maslany has appeared in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, and other projects. Fans are expecting to see her reprise the role in either of the upcoming Avengers films, though Marvel Studios has yet to officially confirm her casting.
