Peter Claffey may not have received any Emmy love this time, but his character in Game of Thrones will be returning at the end of September. Claffey plays Ser Duncan the Tall in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which received a lot of appreciation from critics and audiences alike, and even got multiple Emmy nominations.
While season 2 of the show is still a long way off, fans do not have to wait long till they see their favorite Dunk and Egg again. Claffey’s character will reportedly be added to the Zynga RPG game, Game of Thrones: Legends (via official website).

HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms became a surprise hit among fans, who loved the chemistry between the central duo, Dunk and Egg. Based on George R.R. Martin’s novellas, the events are set almost a century before the events of Game of Thrones and follow the knight and his squire on their adventures.
Peter Claffey has received great appreciation for his performance as Ser Duncan the Tall, though this year he seemed to skip the Emmy nominations. However, the show was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series and other Creative Emmy Awards. A second season is currently in development and will release in the first half of 2027.
However, fans do not have to wait so long to see Claffey’s Dunk and Dexter Sol Ansell’s Egg. On September 30, both characters will be added to the RPG game Game of Thrones: Legends under the Scattered Banners faction. Other characters like Jon Snow, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daemon, and Mance Rayder are already available.
Egg will reportedly also have a special item in the game. The ‘I Will Not Leave You, Ser’ has abilities to boost health, cleanse debuffs, and heal allies. It can also apply Fire to enemies and grant Block.
The game is pretty interesting if one likes the Epire & Puzzles style of RPG gameplay. It has quite a few popular characters from the show, and its story modes offer an interesting experience. As the roster increases with new characters, fans have yet to see upgrades in some areas of battle. If you are a fan of the spinoff show, then you should definitely get your hands on this upgrade.

While the year for Game of Thrones may be over, 2027 will bring a second season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Though no release date has been confirmed, principal photography is underway, and Peter Claffey recently revealed that filming had wrapped for the second season, so we might see some updates soon.
Claffey mentioned on the Emmy red carpet that there were some hurdles that the crew had to overcome to make it to the finish line this season, but assured that filming was wrapped (via Entertainment Tonight).
It was the difficult, the trickiest second album. There’s a lot of things that went against us with sets and weather and stuff like that. [Ansell] was amazing in it. Better than he was in the first one, and I didn’t know that was going to be possible.
The crew reportedly experienced a historic flood while on location in the Canary Islands in Spain, which showrunner Ira Parker called ‘bastard’. However, despite the brief pause, production seemed to have resumed and wrapped on time.
