Imu has always been one of the biggest mysteries in One Piece. For years, fans knew almost nothing about the ruler sitting on the Empty Throne. But the Final Saga has finally started pulling back the curtain, and every new chapter makes Imu look even more dangerous than before.
Instead of relying on just one powerful ability, Imu fights with a collection of ancient weapons, each with its own terrifying power. From nearly killing Gear 5 Luffy to giving legendary relics to the Holy Knights, here’s every new weapon Imu has revealed so far and why each one could change the future of the Final Saga.
1. Vohu Nearly Killed Gear 5 Luffy

The first weapon to truly shock fans was Vohu, also known as the Blade of Nothingness. It made its debut in Chapter 1188 of One Piece when Imu suddenly pulled the sword froma small Abyss circle and stabbed Gear 5 Luffy straight through the chest. The moment instantly brought back memories of Crocodile’s famous attack in the Alabasta Arc, but this time the stakes felt even higher.
Things only got worse in Chapter 1189. Imu pushed the blade deeper and pinned Luffy to a giant tree in Elbaph. But Vohu wasn’t just causing a normal injury. It slowly drained Luffy’s life force, leaving even Gear 5 almost powerless. That one scene showed why Vohu is probably the deadliest weapon in Imu’s collection.
2. Fragarach Made Luffy’s Escape Impossible

One sword wasn’t enough for Imu. Moments after trapping Luffy with Vohu, Imu summoned another legendary weapon called Fragarach. The Sea God Sword was then driven into Luffy, leaving him pinned in place with two ancient blades.
What makes this attack so clever is how both weapons work together. Vohu drains Luffy’s strength while Fragarach stops him from using Gear 5’s freedom to escape. Instead of winning through strength alone, Imu showed careful planning. That combination made the attack far more frightening than a single powerful strike.
3. Gram Helped Sommers Challenge Zoro

Not every weapon stays in Imu’s hands. Chapter 1189 revealed that Imu can also share these ancient relics with trusted allies. Using the mysterious power called Omen, Imu summoned Gram and handed the legendary Sword of Wrath to Shepherd Sommers.
The difference was clear almost immediately. Sommers suddenly looked much stronger and was able to stand his ground against Zoro for far longer than expected. It also hinted that these weapons don’t just look impressive – they can completely change the strength of whoever is holding them.
4. Longinus Gave Killingham the Perfect Counter to Sanji

Along with Gram came another famous relic called Longinus. Instead of a sword, this ancient weapon is a powerful spear, and Imu placed it directly into the hands of Rimoshifu Killingham during the battle in Elbaph.
The spear proved to be a smart choice against Sanji. Its long reach made it much easier to keep Sanji at a distance and stop him from rushing to Luffy’s side. It showed that Imu isn’t simply throwing powerful weapons around. Every choice seems carefully planned to match the opponent standing in front of them.
5. Xingtian Was Imu’s Final Execution Weapon

After Luffy was left completely helpless by Vohu and Fragarach, Imu decided it was time to finish the fight. That’s when the massive executioner’s axe called Xingtian appeared in Chapter 1189 of One Piece.
The axe wasn’t meant to scare Luffy. It was meant to kill him. Just as Imu brought it down for the final strike, Scopper Gaban burst onto the battlefield and blocked the attack with his twin axes. It was one of the biggest cliffhangers in the Final Saga and reminded fans why Roger’s legendary crewmates are still so important.
6. Nemesis Unleashed Crushing Waves of Haki

Unlike Vohu or Xingtian, Nemesis isn’t a weapon that focuses on one opponent. Instead, it helps Imu control the entire battlefield while the fight continues.
The Sword of Divine Punishment releases powerful waves of dark Haki that push enemies away. That makes it much harder for the Straw Hats and the Giant Warriors to work together or rescue Luffy. Sometimes creating space is just as important as landing a powerful attack, and Nemesis does exactly that.
7. Stigma Helped Imu Dominate the Battlefield

Stigma appeared alongside Nemesis as another weapon built for controlling the fight. Instead of delivering one massive finishing blow, it helps Imu keep every enemy under constant pressure.
Together with Imu’s Haki and the other ancient relics, Stigma makes it difficult for anyone to get close. The more weapons Imu reveals, the clearer it becomes that every one has a different purpose. Some are made to kill, while others are designed to trap, weaken, or keep enemies away until the perfect moment arrives.
One of the biggest reveals from One Piece Chapter 1189 is that these aren’t just legendary weapons from history. They are said to carry the preserved wills of the original monarchs who lived 800 years ago. Through the mysterious power known as Omen, Imu can summon these relics at any time or even lend them to the Holy Knights. If these seven weapons are only the beginning, the Final Saga could still have many more shocking surprises waiting.
