“You can’t see me.” Maybe not, but we all saw the bald spot that was on John Cena’s head. After all, it was pretty hard to miss. The wrestler has always had great hair throughout the years, so naturally, when fans noticed that he was missing a good chunk of his hair at the back, they were worried. However, things seem to have gone back to normal for John Cena as he no longer has a bald spot.

Despite the concern and/or trolling he received, John Cena embraced his hair loss with pride. But when 2025 rolled in, though, the bald spot was mysteriously erased from existence. The wrestler recently opened up about what he’s doing to keep his hair happy and healthy.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov took fans on a trip down memory lane in his latest YouTube video, where he got into the details of John Cena‘s hair over the years. As he pointed out, the thinning of Cena’s hair became more prominent around the time he turned forty-three.

However, 2025 came as a pleasant surprise for his fans who noticed that the wrestler no longer had a bald spot at the back of his head and instead, his hair looked shinier and healthier.

During an episode of WWE Raw, Austin Theory tried to roast Cena by stating, “I ain’t going anywhere, just like that bald spot on your head isn’t going anywhere.” Little did he know that Cena had a surprise up his sleeve – or, under his cap.

He removed his cap to reveal that long gone are the days of a Cena with thinning hair. Check out the moment below:

As it turns out, Cena is taking good care of his hair. Even though he probably didn’t opt for a hair transplant, he has apparently turned toward other methods to keep his hair as strong as his WWE career.

In his video, Dr. Linkov admitted that it is “unlikely” that Cena went through a hair transplant, given the timing of it all, as well as the lack of scarring around his scalp.

So, what is it exactly that Cena has done to ensure his hair stays healthy? In a recent interview with New Beauty, the wrestler walked his fans through his hair care routine, which involves everything from vitamins to red light therapy.

He stated,

I’m one of those folks in the 7 out of 10 men with thinning hair. I’ve learned that, hey, you’re not at the mercy of the court—you need to keep the hair you have healthy. So, now I take care of the follicles I have on my hair because I want them to last as long as they can. I do minoxodil at night, I do red light therapy, I take vitamins, I make sure I’m washing and conditioning with products that strengthen my hair.

Cena added that he is focused on self-care, now more than ever. He is always asking himself if he is doing the best he can. While he wishes he “would have taken better care of” his hair earlier, he realizes he can’t keep crying over spilled milk. He can only promise to do better.
