To make things easier, we’ll recommend picking up the 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR, which happens to be the car featured in the challenge artwork. However, you can also use other Evolution cars like the 1985 RS2000 Evolution, 2012 599X Evolution, and the 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020. Once that’s done, head to “Upgrades and Tuning” and then “Custom Upgrades”.
All you need to do is spend 30,000 Credits on upgrades. This can be anything, such as an engine swap, drivetrain swap, or other modifications. Whatever you end up doing, it should just hit a total cost of 30,000 credits or more. Once you’ve done that, leave the garage and take your vehicle out for a spin in the free roam. You will receive a notification in a second or two that you have completed the treasure challenge.
Now, you need to find the Treasure Chest. For this, drive your way to the El Estadio Horizon Stadium. Enter the place from the east side, take a left after the ramps, and then make an immediate right. Head straight ahead, and smash the chest to complete the treasure hint. You’ll receive 300 FP and 3 points for the Winter Season.
