During an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, Thurman was asked about her list of ex-partners, which includes Academy Award-winner Gary Oldman. However, Thurman had a very kind reaction to being asked about Hawke allegedly cheating on her.

Thurman made the above statement about her ex-husband. However, when Stern pointed out that Hawke cheated on her, arguing that the Kill Bill actress might have changed her opinion about her ex-husband, she refused to bad mouth the actor in the media. She continued:
I do still. (He cheated on you) So?
Thurman’s comments implied that Hawke indeed cheated on her with the actress, jokingly stating that all men cheat.

Thurman made the above statement (via People), pointing out the challenges of moving on after being married to Hawke for five years, especially since the couple had two children together.
Furthermore, Thurman denied the tabloid reports that her marriage had ended because of Hawke’s alleged affair. Instead, the actress revealed that if her and Hawke’s issues were as simple as infidelity, the couple would still be together.
