A classic Star Trek TV show has made a surprising comeback on Fandango‘s latest revenue chart. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine ranked fifth among the platform’s top-grossing titles for the week from August 31 through September 6.
Fandango’s chart places the long-running series alongside several major 2026 movie releases. The ranking includes new films, franchise titles, and the complete Deep Space Nine series bundle.
It’s an unexpected entry because the chart features nine movies and just this one television series. Deep Space Nine originally ended its run more than 25 years ago.

The complete Deep Space Nine bundle includes all seven seasons of the series. The show centered around Avery Brooks’ Commander Benjamin Sisko and his crew aboard a space station near Bajor.
Unlike the franchise’s more ship-focused series, Deep Space Nine focused heavily on life aboard a single space station. Its stories explored space travel alongside political disputes, war, and relationships among the station’s residents.
The series also built several long-running character arcs across its seven-season run. The official Star Trek site lists the series as having 176 episodes across seven seasons.
Fandango currently offers the complete series bundle for purchase through its digital storefront. Viewers can also stream Deep Space Nine through Paramount+.
Deep Space Nine first premiered in 1993 and concluded in 1999. Its appearance on a 2026 revenue chart suggests that the series continues to attract consumer interest.
