It’s fair to say that the last couple of months have been an absolute nightmare for Battlefield 6. What launched with so much hype is now getting criticized by gamers left and right. If that wasn’t enough, EA has decided to make things worse by rolling out the Battlefield Pro Battle Pass, and completing it requires you to spend more money. So, what’s happening here? Well, it’s time to give you a look.

So, if you haven’t been keeping up, the Battlefield Pro Battlepass is finally available in the game. Of course, to get your hands on this, you’ll need to spend $25, and let’s be honest, now that’s quite an absurd amount to pay for an in-game item when the base game costs $60. The pass gives you skins, charms, and other items that aren’t even that special.
Now, if you’re someone who has bought Battlefield Pro, you’ll expect to be able to unlock these things at your own pace without spending any extra money. However, that’s not the case. This new battle pass only lasts for a week. What makes things even more questionable, as pointed out by X user @DANNYonPC, is that to complete the battle pass, you will need a total of 100 points.
Now, the issue is that you can’t earn these points. Right now, points come from weekly challenges, and the maximum you can earn from those is 40 points. This means that there’s absolutely no way to reach the full 100-point requirement, unless, of course, you’re willing to hand out money to EA and outright purchase tiers.
Will EA fix this glitch soon? We don’t know for sure, as the company hasn’t made an official statement on it. However, it’s absolutely mind-boggling how they’ve designed this battle pass and pushed it around in its current form. Remarkably, players expect to grind during the holiday season and then make it virtually impossible to finish without purchasing tiers.

Battlefield 6‘s downward spiral is one for the history books. Remember all the hype before the launch, with people claiming it would outright beat Call of Duty: Black Ops 7? Sure, its launch was quite strong, but two months down the line, and the game is getting absolutely review-bombed on Steam.
It’s not as if the core gameplay itself is terrible. It’s a pretty big step up from the previous entries in the franchise. However, what’s bugging the players is the game’s wasted potential. Players are tired of running into cheaters, constantly facing lag, and other issues that ruin the gameplay.
If that’s not enough, players are also tired of EA’s push for battle passes and cosmetics without bringing in updates to improve gameplay and add new features. There’s no denying that if EA doesn’t change its ways, it won’t be long before Battlefield 6 suffers at a rate worse than 2042.
