YouTuber Andy Signore does not believe the latest TMZ report, which called the Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr. feud rumors a “superhero hooey”. Signore shared on his most recent video that the report was part of Reynolds’s PR leak, claiming that he was trying to muddy the waters. He shared:

It absolutely tracks as a Ryan Reynolds PR leak because it tracks with him. He loves to muddy the water when he looks bad.

TMZ claimed that there was no way the feud could’ve happened and even went on to suggest that there was no reason to believe a feud erupted between the two stars. A source told TMZ that while the two actors know each other, they have never actually met in person. However, the report said that the two actors were friendly.

However, Signore is not buying it and claimed that what Ryan Reynolds is doing through the TMZ article was called “audience whiplash.” Signore claimed that he was trying to make the fact-checking journey hard for the audience, calling it a classic Reynolds and Black Lively move. He shared:

So what he’s doing is I call it audience whiplash. He’s giving them whiplash when they have to go on a factchecking journey. So what does that do? It exhausts the average person and they’re not going to pursue the truth. And so he gets to now control the narrative a little bit better. And that’s classic Reynolds and it’s classic Lively.

Signore was one of the YouTubers who received a subpoena from Lively in the Justin Baldoni case. She accused Baldoni and the Wayfarer team of orchestrating the smear campaign with the help of content creators. According to PEOPLE, Signore allegedly released an “exclusive” statement from Brian Freedman before any major news outlets published it.

Ryan Reynolds and RDJ’s Rumored Fight On Avengers: Doomsday Set

Earlier, John Rocha of The Hot Mic podcast claimed on The Kristian Harloff Show that two actors clashed on the Doomsday set after one of the actors jokingly made a comment about the other that went too far. When the other actor confronted him, it allegedly resulted in a heated argument between the actors.

Fans suspected that the fight occurred between Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr. The studio allegedly had to get involved, as they reportedly rescheduled shoots to separate the two actors. They reportedly offered millions of dollars to one of the actors to keep the peace. Rocha shared:

They are two pretty big actors. Apparently, a comment — from what I understand — a comment was made in jest that was a bit too familiar because these actors didn’t know each other that well and crossed a line. One of the actors got really upset about it, confronted the other actor…And that caused a big rift and battle. I’m just going to leave it at two very outspoken actors went at each other.

Some fans guessed Downey Jr. could be at one end of this conflict, as he was the biggest star on set for whom Marvel would not think twice before offering millions of dollars. With the recent news of Reynolds’ appearance in the film, fans seemed to be convinced that the argument happened between these two actors.

During Andy Signore’s recent video, content creator @CoolMomJamie claimed that the fight took place between Reynolds and Downey Jr. She shared that she learned it from a friend of a friend, which she admits is a loose source. She shared:

I heard that there was a joke that went bad and we all know Ryan Reynolds has a habit of crossing the line and saying the wrong thing. So, it tracks from history and what I was told is Robert didn’t like a joke and fired back and Reynolds doubled down. That’s what I was told.

The feud between the actors adds to the other major problems in Marvel’s production of Avengers: Doomsday. The massive budget of the film, including Downey Jr.’s millions of dollars in salary, is a major concern for the studio, as issues continue to plague the set.

Andy Signore Commented that Ryan Reynolds Knows How to Destroy Families

Andy Signore earlier slammed another PR move from Ryan Reynolds. The actor and his marketing firm, Maximum Effort, helped Astronomer to come up with a response to the viral kiss cam scandal. They came up with an ad featuring Gwyneth Paltrow as their “temporary” spokesperson.

It was a very tongue-in-cheek move, given her past relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. While some lauded the crisis PR move, Signore wasn’t happy with Reynolds’ involvement. He accused Reynolds of making light of the “serious story” and even labeled the campaign “tone-deaf.” He shared in a video:

When I read that Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort was behind it, I wasn’t surprised at all because this man clearly knows how to destroy families. He’s doing it right now to Justin Baldoni, did it to his own wife, Scarlett Johansson. So, of course, he’s behind this witty attempt to make light at this illicit affair.

Signore rose to prominence with his channel Popcorned Planet during the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial. He previously founded the YouTube channel, Screen Junkies, which fired him after citing several s*xual misconduct allegations (via NBC News). He has denied all the allegations and made a comeback after this reputational hit.
