What are the popcorn buckets for Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie?
By our count, there are three popcorn buckets for Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, not to mention other special merchandise for the film. The most impressive buckets that we’ve seen so far are those from Cinemark and Cinemax.
Cinemark Gabby’s Dollhouse Popcorn Tin
[Image Credit: Cinemark / Instagram]Cinemark has revealed an adorable popcorn tin for the Gabby’s Dollhouse movie on its Instagram account. In a video post on September 3, it showcased the oval tin with a large lid in the shape of a pink-cat textured roof. The blue tin with painted windows that have pictures of the cats looks quite large and should easily have enough room for a medium popcorn. The inside of the popcorn bucket isn’t plain like other containers but inked in colorful strips similar to a rainbow.
At the end of the video is a drink cup in the shape of a blue cat mermaid with a purple straw going through the top. Fans of the show will recognize the character as MerCat, the scientist stationed in the bathroom who does “spa science” experiments.
Cinemark didn’t say how much the popcorn bucket or the cup will be. That said, the bucket doesn’t look as intricate as other containers in the Cinemark Shop, so we think it’s likely going to cost in the range of $30 to $40 given its size. We estimate the cup should be around $20 to $25.
Regal Gabby’s Dollhouse Collector’s Combo
[Image Credit: Regal / Instagram]Meanwhile, Regal is offering more of a variety of Gabby’s Dollhouse merch. The Collector’s Combo comes with a popcorn bucket in the shape of a pail, a collectible cup with a lid with a Cakey Cat figurine, and two standalone figurines of MerCat and Pandy Paws. Taken as a package altogether, we expect that this combo will cost around $40 to $60 given the size of the pail, cup, and figurines.
Along with a bunch of plushies, the theater chain will also be offering a Light Up Headband with cat ears colored after Pandy Paws. The ears light up with a pink color (we’re not sure how long they will last or if the batteries are replaceable).
All these collectibles will be available for sale on September 26, just in time for the movie.
Cinemax Gabby’s Dollhouse Playhouse
[Image Credit: Cinemax / Instagram]In a short 12-second clip, Cinemax shared an Instagram post featuring an impressive Gabby’s Dollhouse popcorn bucket that opens up with large double doors. The inside of the doors seem to have magnets of several characters from the series. And really, it looks fancy enough that it doesn’t seem like it should be used as a popcorn bucket at all.
Instead, the pair of pails at the end of the video feel more appropriate for popcorn. Along with that is a series of four different collectible cups featuring lids with figurines of Cakey Cat, Pandy Paws, MerCat, and Chumsley.
It’s unclear when these collectibles will be available or how much they will be, but Cinemax has asked customers to follow their Instagram account for more information closer to the movie’s release.
AMC has yet to reveal if it has any popcorn buckets for the Gabby’s Playhouse movie. Its store does show new merch for the film, like spiral notebooks, pants, shirts, and tumblers. Those who watch the film at AMC during its opening weekend will get a keychain too.
