Harry Kane, with his recent goals for Bayern Munich, has broken the long-standing 10-year-old record of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has set a new milestone, surpassing a record jointly held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland after his double in the club’s 4-0 Bundesliga victory over Werder Bremen on Friday night.
Kane reached 100 goals for Bayern in just 104 appearances across all competitions, beating the mark previously shared by Ronaldo and Haaland, who both needed 105 matches to hit the same tally for Real Madrid and Manchester City, respectively.
The England captain struck his landmark goal in the 65th minute, slotting past Karl Hein after a well-timed assist from teammate Luis Díaz. His achievement makes him the fastest player in Europe’s top five leagues to register 100 goals for a single club on record.
Ronaldo achieved the feat with Real Madrid back in August 2011, while Haaland notched his 100th goal for City in September 2024. Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, has now moved ahead of both in the history books.
