After years of silence, Star Wars fans waiting to hear more about two previously announced games will be relieved to learn more. Lucasfilm Games’ 2026 sizzle reel included brief appearances from Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse and Saber Interactive’s Knights of the Old Republic remake.

The sizzle reel included shots from various video games based on Lucasfilm properties, including both recent and upcoming titles. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer any new footage from either Eclipse or the KOTOR remake. However, the presence of any signs of them is a positive sign that the games are still in development.

Lucasfilm sends a signal on two uncertain projects

Star Wars Eclipse was first announced at the Game Awards in 2021. However, the game has been a no-show ever since. Quantic Dream confirmed with its trailer that it would be an action-adventure game and would include a branching narrative similar to its previous outings. The studio was later acquired by NetEase.

Quantic Dream has yet to show gameplay from the project or announce a release date. It made another appearance at the D23 Expo this year, though no new footage was revealed.

As for Knights of the Old Republic, the game has also faced its fair share of development troubles. It was originally developed by Aspyr after its announcement in 2021. However, Saber Interactive later took over development and has yet to officially reveal its gameplay or set a release date. The game is confirmed to be a timed exclusive to the PlayStation 5.

Curiously, one other game that didn’t show up in the sizzle was Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic. The game was announced in 2025 as a spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic.

Here are all the games that were shown in the sizzle:

Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Star Wars: Galactic Racer

The Sims 4 – Star Wars: Journey to Batuu

Star Wars: Eclipse

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake

Disney Dreamlight Valley

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor

Destiny 2 – Renegades

Star Wars Outlaws

LEGO Star Wars Castaways

Monopoly Go Star Wars

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes

Star Wars: Zero Company

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Return to Monkey Island

The most recent Star Wars game, Star Wars: Zero Company, was released in late August this year.
