Omizzy recounted how his passion for music began in his childhood in Surulere, Lagos, sparked by a stage performance that changed his life.
Regarding his track named after Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Omizzy emphasized that the connection goes beyond mere football fandom.
He spoke highly of his collaboration with Zlatan Ibile on “Danfo Driver”, stating, “the session was one of the best he has ever had,” noting that the song’s themes made it easy to connect with Zlatan.
Reflecting on his family’s early disapproval of his music dreams, Omizzy chose to continue his education while working on his music career in silence.
Omizzy expressed a desire for his future work to elevate Afrobeats on the global stage while adapting to advancements like artificial intelligence.
