DCU Co-CEO James Gunn has come up with the idea of a reboot of the franchise to prevent DCU from drowning. Looking at some previous performances by DC Films, it hasn’t produced anything impressive for its audience.
Gunn’s decision for DC Universe’s reboot might revive the franchise; however, due to this, many anticipated films may get affected. Recently, it was reported that Warner Bros. has scrapped the sequel to Justice League.

Previously, Warner Bros. and Justice League‘s director Zack Snyder were planning to produce the second installment of the film. Snyder had also often mentioned the arrival of the sequel. The director once shared his vision for the sequel to the film and stated that it would witness the return of Darkseid to Earth.
All these theories indeed ignited hope in fans’ hearts, and they eagerly waited for the arrival of the sequel. However, the film’s cancellation has outraged the fans, and now they are criticizing Gunn’s decision.
Although WB has made no such official announcement, either about the Justice League sequel or its cancellation.

Gunn’s arrival in DCU has brought many drastic changes to the franchise. Many actors like Henry Cavil, Ben Affleck, and director Zack Snyder, departed from the franchise.
